Our flagship product is a non-dangerous good (Non-DG) chemical concentrate designed for cleaning and salt removal applications. When used at the recommended dilution ratio, the product is classified as non-hazardous, readily biodegradable, and environmentally friendly.

The product is safe for general commercial and domestic use when applied strictly in accordance with Salt-Shark Limited’s usage instructions and dilution guidelines. Our recommendations are based on internal research, testing, and best practices. If the product is used in a manner inconsistent with our instructions, we cannot guarantee the effectiveness of the product or the environmental performance claims we make.

By using Salt-Shark in a way that deviates from our recommended guidelines (including over-concentration, inappropriate surfaces, or unapproved applications), users accept full responsibility for any outcomes or damages. Salt-Shark Limited is not liable for any loss, damage, or adverse effect resulting from such misuse.

Although the product is not classified as a hazardous substance under applicable New Zealand or international standards, a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is available upon request. Please email sales@salt-shark.com to receive a copy of the MSDS.

Salt-Shark Limited assumes no responsibility for misuse, incorrect dilution, or improper storage of the product. Users must ensure safe application, particularly when importing or using the product in international jurisdictions with differing regulatory standards.

Purchased the kit and couldn’t be happier with it so far. The wash bottle is solid and well-built, unlike some others I’ve tried, and the engine wash bottle is easy to use and does the job well.

The solution itself goes a long way too – just two pumps was more than enough to wash my boat!

Overall, I find Salt Shark better than Salty Captain, and it’s cheaper as well. With more washes out of the solution, it’s a no-brainer for me.

Great product, easy to use, and better value for money. I’ll definitely keep using it!

The Best Saltwater Wash We’ve Used!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely stoked with Salt Shark!

We’ve been using Salt Shark to wash our boat, Fat Stuff, and it works bloody well! 🚤🌊 After a day out fishing, Fat Stuff cops plenty of saltwater, spray and grime, and Salt Shark makes cleaning it up so much easier. It cuts through the salt and muck and leaves the boat looking fresh without having to scrub the guts out of it.

We also use it on our 4WDs, and it works just as well. Living right on the coast, our vehicles cop salty mist and spray constantly, especially after beach trips and days out fishing. Salt Shark does a great job of getting all that salt and grime off and keeping the 4WDs looking good.

It’s definitely become a product we use regularly on both the boat and the cars. If you live on the coast, own a boat or spend plenty of time around saltwater, give Salt Shark a crack — highly recommend it! 🦈🔥

Had been searching for the right product for a while, and now I’m using it and it works a treat. 1-2 pumps is more than enough and saves so much product compared to other brands, plus it leaves the boat and ute nice and clean💯

After using several other similar products I can now say that Salt Shark has by far been the best. You genuinly only need two pumps to wash the entire boat. Gets rid of all the salt residue and leaves the boat looking shiny and new.

Ordered and received this a few weeks ago, was very impressed with the fast shipping to western US. I've used this to wash the boat twice after being in the salt all day. Really like how it suds up because I feellike it penetrates much better to neutralize stubborn places where saltwater gets into, plus once you hose it off it really looks clean.

Super Concentrate Salt Remover

This stuff really works and can use a couple of pumps instead of having to fill the entire bottle with product to flush my motor and rinse my 24 foot Tidewater Bay Boat. I have even recommended it to my friends here on the east coast of NC.

This stuff works!

I'm using this product on my 24' Tritoon. First, the Salt Shark sprayer, motor flusher and foam spraying bottle are top quality. Second, the Salt Shark soap does an excellent job at removing salt from the boat and motor. Even better than using regular soap and a brush.

In the past I thought the letter spots on the aluminum on the boat and on the motor were just minerals form my water. Apparently not! After soaking and rinsing the boat and motor with Salt Shark there are spots left after it dries!

Also by being able to spray the boat and motor with the foaming soap I'm able to better remove the salt in all the nooks and crannies that a brush or rag cannot get to.

Used this for the first time it was amazing how it got rid of all the salt off the boat. My friend also was so amazed he was going to tell his cousin that has a boat to get it. This product cut the was time at least in half. It looked like course salt on the boat and was gone in minutes with this product. You will not be disappointed. I did have to wait a small delay in shipping but was well worth the wait. They contacted me right away it was delayed and added an extra wash. Great customer service.

Boats never looked better

I have been using this for over a year now both with Auckland town water and with bore water from Cooks beach. Both our little boats are tinnies and since using this product I would say it has improved the appearance of the aging aluminium. No damage to any surfaces - including my gauges, VHF, chart plotter etc on the centre console (I spray everything) and every surface dries without water marks or spotting etc. I purchased the kit and the foaming gun that comes with it is awesome. Highly recommended!

Absolute fantastic product

I am very happy with this product I was using the other top name product before trying this. I am Happy with the fact I use less and it does the same if not a better job than the other product. The gun is a great set up and works as good as you say. I love the quick release nozzle. I had a slight issue in shipping and it was taken care of like professionals. Great customer service.

Perviously I use to use a expensive car wash product to wash the outside of the boat and motor cowling, i could see smear marks and salt staining after it was dryed. I Wanted to get a product that i can flush the motor aswell as remove the salt staining from the pain work, and windscreen Looked into other products then i come across salt sharks boatie pack. Used it the first time last week and the results were perfect. Easy to apply with the cannon. Under fluorescent tube lights no marks or salt stains was visible and with a 5mt ally runabout, i didnt have to use the whole bottle, and that was with 2 applications. The engine flush system was hassle free apart from my motor muffs not sealing properly, ran the motor with fresh water for 2 min then flick the valve over for 5 min untill the canister ran clear then flick back to fresh water for a rinse out. A quick wipe down with a shammy and was done Simply as, speeds up wash time and great value for money and highly rated products that work.

We've tried to solve every problem there is when it comes to removing salt, whether it's for your boat, vehicle or coastal house.

How to plug the Salt-Shark sprayer into my hose?

You simply need a female quick connect adapter on your hose to plug into our sprayer.
If you have a thread on your hose and no female quick connect adapter, you can unscrew the male quick connect fitting provided with our sprayer and screw your hose straight into the sprayer.

Can Salt-Shark be used to flush my engine too?

100%, Salt-Shark focuses on value for money so there is no need to buy 2 different salt removers when one can do both jobs! One Pump is all that you need to flush any size outboard or inboard motor! Simply flush Salt-Shark through your motor with our Engine Flush Adapter, run it untill the container goes clear leaving only freshwater in the motor. Salt-Shark, at the recommended dilution, is 100% safe to leave inside you motor, however there is no need to do this with Salt-Shark so we recommended only leaving freshwater inside the motor once flushed through.

Is it safe to use on all surfaces?

Yes, Salt-Shark is safe to use on all surfaces when used at the recommended dilution. Make sure to follow our simple instructions to ensure the best results!

Can I use Salt-Shark on the ocean?

Yes, at the recommended dilution ratio Salt-Shark is readily biodegradable and more importantly marine safe!

How much do I need to use to wash my boat?

One pump! Thats right only 5ml or 0.17oz to wash your boat. Stop using up to 100ml per wash with other brands. For around the exact same price, you can use 10 times less per wash with Salt-Shark!

What can i use Salt-Shark for?

Salt-Shark can remove salt of any surface! Wether its your boat, jetski, 4x4, dirtbike, car or even your coastal house! Salt-Shark will do the job!

How long will it take to get my orders?

How did Salt-Shark start?

At just 19 years old I created Salt-Shark from being tight and lazy! Yes, tight and lazy haha! You see after months of searching, I couldn't find a good value for money product to wash my boat. Having ran a couple small businesses throughout highschool, i saw this problem in the market and decided to go all in and create a solution! Working full time as a building apprentice at the time, i often worked past midnight after being on the building site all day to build Salt-Shark from the ground up. 12 months later i made the call to go full time with Salt-Shark and now at 21 years old I'm not turning back! My mission is to take Salt-Shark from my neighbours basement here in New Zealand, to the rest of the world!
